Building Permits
Permits from ten US and Canadian cities in one schema — with the contractor on the job.
Pay per result on Apify. Runs that return nothing cost nothing; Apify's free plan includes $5 of usage a month, and Apify Bronze, Silver and Gold subscribers get 10%, 20% and 30% off.
New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Cincinnati, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg publish their building permits on open-data portals — each with its own column names. This Actor maps all of them onto one row shape: permit number, type and work class, status, the description of the work, address with coordinates, applied and issued dates, declared value, housing units, square feet, contractor and applicant.
Filters run on the portal's side where it matters: «issued since 30 days» is one fast request per city, newest first. Add a keyword, a permit type, a minimum value or a contractor name to watch one builder across every city at once.
